Theeba Motorsport forced to withdraw from Italian round of 2022 International GT Open…

Theeba Motorsport is disappointed to announce that it will not compete in Round Six of the 2022 International GT Open at Monza due to ongoing repair work to its Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO.

This follows the championship’s fifth round at the Red Bull Ring, where the team was involved in a collision late in the second race at the Austrian venue.

As repair work continues, Theeba Motorsport’s full focus is placed on returning for the final weekend of the current campaign at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain on 15-16 October.

Reema Juffali, Founder & Driver, Theeba Motorsport

“After evaluating a handful of options, we’ve made the hard decision not to compete in this weekend’s International GT Open race at Monza. It’s extremely disappointing not to be participating, but our full focus is on repairing the car so we can come back for the season finale at Barcelona where we’ll give it our all.”
